Hints to prevent and manage your stress

Usually everybody has a few ways to cope with stress. You may also have some good ways to help you deal with stress.
On the following pages there are a number of hints to help you prevent and manage your stress. Some of the hints are for what to do when you are already feeling stressed, and some for preventing stress. For example, if you regularly take part in sport and physical exercise, you will lessen your chances of suffering from stress.

Most of the hints are small but useful things you can do to help you feel better. However, if your stress and depression lasts a long time, please ask your teacher to refer you to a counsellor.
